the world spins madly on

In middle school and high school I would write silly love poems or doodle my first name with Johnny Depp’s last name in a composition book. Of course the poems were all about the guy I liked (at the time) hoping to read them aloud to that same gracious beau only ten years later, after saying our “I do’s” and starting our new lives together. (Because we always knew we would marry any boy who walked into our life and gave us attention in high school, right girls?) It’s silly to look back on those poems and doodles now; the corniness of each word and how “Kelley Depp” didn’t seem to go so well together vocally.

The point is, I have never really had the desire to write down my true, deepest thoughts into words, or really go into depth with my feelings and opinions. Until now. Sure, I have a few “journals” that I write in every once in a while that are strictly for myself or for God, but lately I have felt that I needed to share some of my thoughts with an audience: you!

So, I cordially invite you to an adventure into my mind. I plan to write almost every day and will post pictures, songs, videos, etc. Pretty much anything that interests me. My only wish is that it will interest you as well. Enjoy and God Bless!
